First, I can say that I am not one to give reviews - ever. I just either forget or don’t have the time, but these products have been such an instrumental tool in my symptoms that I had to leave a review this time! I have been using JellieBend products for probably 6 months or so (JellieBend, JellieWraps for wrists, and now JellieBody). I was skeptical when I bought my first JellieBend - I thought it seemed overpriced, but I was also desperate for relief so figured it was worth a try and I could always return it if I hated it.
It has been so helpful, ESPECIALLY with my often prolonged time sitting at a desk. It relieves some of the back pain and provides snug, but not uncomfortable support. (By the way - I have really struggled with finding appropriate compression because I hate the way most feel against my skin due to MCAS). I also had tethered cord surgery less than a year ago and needed some support but disliked back braces - this was PERFECT! I have also found JellieBend helpful with abdominal compression and keeping my blood pressure up a little more - especially during this hot summer where compression socks/leggings are nearly impossible. It’s also been helpful during my clinical rotations when I was struggling with lightheadedness, every time I was trying to do a physical exam on a patient - this helped reduce some of this symptom which could really impact my ability to do my job!
As for the wrist wraps….well, let’s put it this way - I think I have literally 5 sets of wrist braces and dislike nearly all of them (and never use them). This is the first type of wrist supports I have used consistently. I have a lot of hand/wrist pain with typing and writing - which I do a LOT as an NP student! I appreciate that they are stretchy enough to adjust the level of compression to make them tighter/looser for support without sacrificing movement. I just started using my JellieBody and have found it helpful for mid-upper back pain, as well as hip pain (I have instability as well as a labral tear).
However, the JellieBend is still my favorite product - I have 5 of them now so I can wear it every day! I have to say these products are worth the price and I’m hoping Ellie will continue to create different compression wear!
