A Note from Jelliebend's Founder 

I’ve felt like an underdog for as long as I can remember. Growing up with scoliosis, my ballet teachers used to mock me, saying I belonged to the “crooked club.”

As an adult, I was drawn to contortion—ironically, the very thing it seemed my spine wasn’t built for. Still, I was determined to try. The challenges of training with such an injury-prone body eventually led me to create Jelliebend.

I didn’t have much to work with when I started Jelliebend—just $3,000 from my savings and a dream. Every risky entrepreneurial leap scared me, but to witness my creation, support others—and see that same resilience reflected in the Jelliebend community—is the most rewarding path I could imagine.

So don’t count yourself out as an underdog. Your path might not be straight (pun intended 😉), but it will be interesting.
