too loose

it does not stay down in the front or back like a bra that rides up all day. also the sleeves are very long with the thumb holes on the opposite side... I have a spin the entire sleeve around to use the thumb holes

It helps relieve my shoulders and neck, but causes issues elsewhere. The shrug could really benefit from being make from a less restrictive material from above the elbows down to the wrists. The material doesn’t really allow for normal elbow movement and causes pain from the thick material bunching up in the inner elbow area. I feel like this could be a five star product if there were some adjustments made.

Love my jellie bend and was really excited to try this for support across my upper back. Shrug was really strong support on my arms but kinda loose across the back where I was hoping for more support. Interestingly, if I left the arms hanging over my hands and a few inches past my fingertips on both arms the back felt more like how I thought it was supposed to, unfortunately with how tight the arms were I didn’t think I could switch to a smaller size. I had ordered when it first dropped and shoulder measurement guidelines weren’t on the webpage at that time, but I see they are now. I had my spouse measure my shoulders based on that to see if maybe I had just ordered the wrong size, measure across my shoulders indicated 2 sizes larger than what I had ordered… given that it was already feeling kinda loose across my back that didn’t seem to make sense. I’m about 5’8” with about 17” across the shoulders and 31” underbust

I felt so much relief when I put on the Jellie shrug. I love compression, and could feel my system mellowing out as I got the sleeves settled. That would have been enough, but the gentle posture support helped my chest feel open; I felt like I could take a full breath, and for the first time in ages my shoulder blades were able to rest in their correct position without having to focus on them.

The sleeves did get twisted the first time I tried them on, and because of the compressive material I had to take the shrug off and put it back on again rather than being able to straighten them while wearing it, but that's a small inconvenience for something that provides so much support and comfort.

I love love love my leggings and was so excited to have compression for my arms and upper back! Sadly, the proportions are not for me. I barely got the sleeves on but noticed once I had that the body/back part of the shrug was so boxy it was hovering over my skin vs. touching it. I can’t size down and get my arms in so I had to return, but I’m hoping that down the line there’s other proportions released for the shrug! And if the shrug is good for your proportions then it seemed very well made and comfortable from the fabric.

I have been wearing this for a little over a week and can already see my shoulders aligning. I also don’t have as much pain in my neck and shoulder. I did have to start a few minutes at a time and make sure I align my arm with the thumb hole. Once your body learns to relax into the posture corrector it will become more comfortable. I wear a lot of shoulder braces/posture correctors and this almost like a cross between both. It is by far the most effective shoulder sleeve I have worn and the most comfortable.

The Jellie shrug is more restrictive than their other products. I also feel like it has to be since it is actually changing my posture.

I ordered this and was super excited. The quality of the material and the product is fantastic. I love the concept of it as well. For myself it lands in a weird spot and wish it fit more fitted on the torso/cheat area so if you wanted to wear it under a shirt you could. I’ve gotten other things from jelliebend and absolutely love them

Great product. Keeps my shoulders properly aligned biking and weight training

I was so excited to order this and could not wait to try it on. I ordered the size according to the chart and one size up. The one in my size fit too tight on my arms; I could not get them on straight. The neckline went too high to wear under a shirt for work as a professional. The next size up was too big and did not provide the needed support. I love my leggings, I wear them 24/7 and can't wait to try other Jellie Bend products.

I love the idea of this product, but I don't think it is ideal for all body types. The back keeps creeping up behind my neck even though the cross straps are secure. I have broad shoulders, so I am sure that has something to do with it. I feel like it might fit more securely for me if it was made of the same material as all of my other Jellie items. I have scoliosis and also have 4 ACDF devices on my neck. I am willing to try any items that will help me correct my slouch and reduce strain on my neck and spine. I love my other compression items...they truly save me on some days. I also use the wrist wrap every day for my arthritis. I do not regret trying the shrug and am looking forward to the upcoming tank. 😇

Love it but wish it would be more support on my upper back. Snug on my arms, but loose on my shoulders and upper back.

I ordered several sizes to use for myself and try as samples for PT patients, and the major issue with the Jellie Shrug is the big, boxy shoulders - it looks nothing the pic online. As someone who is hypermobile and has naturally sloped shoulders, the fit is real awkward on my frame. I also wish the elastic bands that pull the shoulders back were tighter - I don't feel like I get any support at all with a Size Small. Other patients of mine have similar feedback, and for some the sleeves are way too long. Overall, I wanted to love this product but it missed the mark for me. I hope they'll update the style/fit of the Jellie Shrug, or perhaps even make a long sleeve shirt for better support.

It has helped with some of the shoulder pain on the arm side of things, but I wish there was a way to adjust the fit for the back/bust area as it could be tighter to support my shoulders more. I'd size down from a medium to a small, except the arms are already pretty tight for me on a medium.

Mine showed up and I tried to wear it under all my clothes. Well, one side is just a teeny bit tighter than the other. I also have different sized arms, so it was pretty uncomfortable. I had initiated a return when I re-read the page, and they suggested to try it on the outside of my clothes. It was better, but I was still hesitant. I've used it for about seven days total in the past two weeks, and I'm just now starting to really love this thing. It takes some getting used to.

Wearing it to bed has helped me as a side sleeper. No matter what support I use, the upper shoulder always ends up collapsing. I still have some slight shoulder issues, but this device does absolutely help engage my muscles. I wear it for some postural support at my office job. My upper ribs sublux/slip out of place and they do NOT like going back in. This helps prevent that in the first place. If I have a lot of angry nerves in the area, putting this on can irritate them more. So for me, it's definitely more situational. Nonetheless, another quality-of-life-saving product for me from Jelliebend. I am also a big fan of the Jellie Leggings, but they're more useful for my POTS. (Hopefully this book helps someone LOL)

I purchased a Medium but it was too loose so I had to return and hope to buy a size Small when it becomes available again.

Love my jellibend and with hyper mobility in my shoulders was so excited about the shrug. Unfortunately the product material and fit don’t work well for me. I wish the shrug was more spandex than neoprene. I found the fit in the shoulders narrow despite following the sizing, and it was very hot. 🥵 Maybe short sleeve or sleeveless would work better for some folks? I wish the front of the shrug extended below my bust because it felt like it wasn’t secure. Still wanting to love this product and certainly a fan of the company. Just a miss on this product.

Like all Jellybend products it is great quality. Unfortunately the fit does not work for me at the shoulders and around neckline. Fabric bunches around the neckline and rides up. Shoulders are still supported thanks to inner band. But if bunching would be a deal breaker for you, measure your shoulders before ordering.

This is becoming a fast favorite. I recently moved and wore this under my tshirt and had little to no shoulder pain after a full day. It is pretty tight on my arms but roomier in the actual shoulders, so it’s hard to tell if the sizing is right but I’m concerned about sizing down and still having comfortable arms.

I'm wearing this to support my shoulder while I sleep. While it provides that stability, it bunches up under the arms as the sleeves are designed for taller people. It also sits above the breast, which is a very strange feeling. I wish there was a size for shorter women.

I think it's really helping with my posture and my shoulders. The stitching is coming loose though closer to the wrists that I need to fix but it's so helpful for my posture!!!

I ordered according to my measurements, I cannot even get my arm through the sleeve!

The shrug was so tight on my arms! Why? I couldn’t even imagine having something so tight on my arms all day! And I have skinny arms!

This is my first Jellie product purchase.. my shoudlers are my main joint issue, and I was really excited to see something I could use. I was skeptical I could get it on and off, but I can!

For reference, I have had 5 surgeries on my left shoulder and 4 on my right, within 10 years. Two on the right are replacements... yes, replacing a replacement. I have limited mobility and so was unsure if I could get this on and off and I am so glad I can. This has made a really positive impact on my daily pain level, especially since I work from home on a computer 8 hrs a day. I find I have a little more energy by the end of the day.

For fit - I orderd and XL based off of the measurements. I am 5'5 and 220lbs. The fit is fine, a little snug in the biceps but I think sizing up for me would be a bit too large everywhere else. It does seem to ride up my throat some as well, but my shoulders are differently shaped so it could just be my body.

Feedback to the makers - maybe consider a plus size option with a little more bicep space that will still allow for compression. Also consider a lower neck line to make it easier to fit under a tshirt without looking like a turtleneck, lol, but it could just be the way this one fits on my body.

Overall, this is worth the price for me. I will save up for the shorts to help my hips!

Love this! I have hEDS or ordered a large (I usually am a M-L) and gives the perfect amt of shoulder support. Highly recommend!

Too big need to return😫

I went off my the size of my Jelliebend which is a M and it was too big. I need a small, now I wait for restocking. Three stars only because I have to wait. Will update once I'm able to try my correct size.
