Jellie Shrug

I think I measured myself accurately, but the small size, on a thin tall person, was loose, and I was wondering what the back bands in the cross shape were for. Sadly mine came ripped at the thumb holes, and the thread is still coming out. Other than that, it feels great on my arms, and I have been reminded gently to pull my shoulders back, and it’s a more gentle and guided reminder. Which I DeSpErAteLy need. I think it’s a great thing…. Maybe I shoulda got a smaller size though…

QC on this product was poor. The thumb holes are aligned with the pinky. The seams just under the thumb hole were already splitting - something I didn't notice until looking at it again and deciding if I would keep or return.

Disappointing quality for what I think would be a helpful product

I ordered a small, but shoulder region was too loose. Arms were fine. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to this product. Would love to believe this would work for everyone but based on other reviews seems I am not the only one who has experienced this issue.

I really NEEDED this to work for me and I am so disappointed in the fit. I followed the size chart - the arms were snug but worked, but the shoulders, back, and chest did not even touch my body AT ALL.

No compression in shoulders or back at all. When slipping the garment off, threads broke in the thumb holes. Not worth all the money.

There was a glitch in ordering the shoulder shrug and I received an email asking for the size I ordered, seeing all the orders had defaulted to size XS. I returned the email and stated I had ordered a size S. It took a while for the order to get to me (not complaining about that), so I had to wait until my daughter came home from college one weekend to give it to her. The shrug we received was a size XS. I emailed customer service and included my original email stating that I had ordered a size S. It's been a week and I haven't heard back.

The shrug was not cheap. I'm anxious to have my daughter try it because she has pain from her HEDS. I'm not sure if I'm going to get a response. Seeing I have HEDS too, we were excited to try several of Jelliebend's products, but I'm wary about ordering anything else. Hopefully this issue will be resolved and I can update the review. Very frustrating.

While I'm super impressed with the quality of the shrug, it unfortunately does not meet my needs as my shoulder blades are hypermobile. I was hoping this shrug would be able to provide support for my shoulder blades but it feels mostly helpful for my arms and shoulder joints. Unfortunately I'll be returning this.

Ordered 1 for my daughter and one for myself. I ordered the size indicated by the arm measurement listed on the size chart. The arms fit both of us but hers had a 4 in gap between her back and the fabric. Mine had 6 inches. I returned and am waiting for a refund. All the other jellybend items we have are great.

I really wanted to like this product as I like the jelliebend a lot, but it's got some issues. Personally I like the arm compression, that's why I'm giving this two stars, but other than that this is uncomfortable to wear. It's simultaneously too big in the shoulders (bunching fabric. And I have bigger shoulders) and too small by cutting into the armpits. While it says it "gently cues shoulders back" it doesn't really do so in a meaningful way. If that wasn't included I would not have guessed this is supposed to help with slouching. There's an odd amount of extra fabric where the shrug goes across the shoulder blades too. I'd wait until they make some fixes to this product before buying.

I am about 5 ft tall with wide shoulders; the shrug is a bit large (Size L) on me in the shoulders so I will need to size down to a medium. Other than that, I am happy with the product, despite it being a little big it has provided some amount of support that has helped ease some of my back pain. Very happy with the shrug and will be getting a size down in the future!

Arms too tight and shoulders were weirdly boxy.

I was worried the shrug would be too tight based on other reviews, but it's way too big for me. The back offers no compression, and the compressive elastic sticks out because it's wider than my back.

Instant relief with unstable shoulders. It’s more comfortable to wear on the outside of clothing because the under arm seams are irritating. The forearms are also too tight in comparison to the rest of the shrug. Overall, it’s a great support that has lessened my shoulder pain.

This is the second shrug I tried and unfortunately it doesn’t fit for my body type. These styles really only fit if you have skinny arms.

I initially ordered medium and found that the back was too narrow and the arms too tight.

I exchanged it for a large and found that now the back was too big and yet the arms were still too tight and too long.

What got me is that they want me to pay $11 to ship it back even though I’ve already bought numerous items from them

The arms were wayyy too long for me and the neckline came up too far on my to be comfy, felt like it was choking me a little if it was in the right place for my shoulders, but i am sensitive to things around my neck. the seams around the shoulders weren't a good fit for my body type, and just not a fan of the fabric, so i am doing a return. All that said, i did like the compression and it felt like it was keeping my shoulders plugged in, i just can't get past the sensory issues. I get the feeling this was designed for more "marfanoid" types with long arms and a thinner frame.

For the sizing I was informed by through email it dose not fit my arms and the straps are not ridged enough for me unfortunately

Tried a few sizes and no matter what it rose up and wouldn’t stay in place, not just on me but on other people it should’ve fit as well because I was hoping it was just me.

I kike the compression in the arms but it is very thick like wearing leggings therefore hot. No way could ai wear this constantly where I live. I don't like the fit. It rides up and the shoulders bunch up a bit. Under another shirt it helps to keep it down in place. Keeping soley for flareup days when my arms are killing me and I'll be indoors all day.

I was so exciting for this release, and remain excited for when I try on the correct size. According to the size chart (ribcage measurement) I am a size M, so that's what I ordered. I think it could be useful for the size chart to include shoulder and arm length measurements as well. Overall the compression felt comfortable and supportive, but the top of the garment kept floating upward off my shoulders (I think my shoulders are a little too wide for it), and after maybe 15 minutes the thumbholes were pulling too hard on the webbing between my thumb and pointer finger (I think my arms are too long for this size). I decided to trade in for store credit so that I can try size L when they're back in stock. The item itself seems like it will help me, if I can get the right fit.

a bit hard to get on but nice feeling on the back when on right. scuba material unlike original jelliebend. arms are SO itchy to me in the elbow bends i almost can't wear it

a little tricky to get on and feel settled, but wowwww did it help right away! gave me support i didn't even know i needed.

The sleeves seem to be sewn on backwards? The thumb hole is at the pinky. The sizing is also off. I think I should have sized down because as is the shrug gapes a lot on my back. I give is points because the arm compressions feels nice on my wrists and elbows. It cues my shoulders a little, but since it's main selling point is shoulders, I should do more.

I was SO excited when these came back in stock, but the arms are very, very tight and quite long, while the 'body' is too short and wide to offer any support. It barely touched my back. Not knocking the concept at all, but wanted to put feedback in here for others!
